Walk To Mary – Across America2023-05-09T15:19:18-06:00

The Walk Continues…

Over the years, the Walk to Mary has become one of the most popular pilgrimages in America. Pilgrims from all states have traveled to Northeast Wisconsin to walk from the National Shrine of St. Joseph to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion.

We have received a lot of interest from pilgrims about establishing their own pilgrimage. We are excited to announce the Walk to Mary – Across America beginning in 2022. The Walk to Mary will be happening in multiple locations. Tens of thousands of pilgrims can Walk to Mary simultaneously in many locations throughout America and the world.

How did the Walk to Mary Cross America?

The Walk to Mary is expanding to other cities across America. In 2021, several people were unable to attend the Green Bay, WI pilgrimage and had the idea to possibly start their own pilgrimage in or near their hometowns.

In an attempt to align with the original Walk to Mary route, from the National Shrine of St. Joseph to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion – local Walk to Mary – Across America organizers worked with the Founders of the Walk to Mary to plan their pilgrimage routes. We look forward to sharing the joy of this event all across the country.

In keeping with the original Walk to Mary route, from The National Shrine of St. Joseph to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, the only church approved Marian apparition site in America, site coordinators worked with the original Walk to Mary organizers to provide pilgrims in their cities with similar physical and spiritual experiences.  We look forward to sharing the joy of this event all across the country.
