The Walk to Mary Pilgrimage calls people from all 4 corners of the globe. This international celebration of Mary has become an essential and unique experience as it takes pilgrims on a one-of-a-kind journey from the National Shrine of St. Joseph to the the only Vatican-approved  Marian apparition site in the United States.

The spiritual journey starts at home in preparation for the day of the pilgrimage. We look forward to assisting you in any way possible, to make this a lifetime memory.

Accommodations

Annually, the Walk to Mary attracts thousands of pilgrims to the Green Bay area to visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion. Our pilgrimage got the attention of Discover Green Bay!

Discover Green Bay is the recognized destination leader in curating and marketing the Green Bay community. They offered to leverage their relationship with area hotels, and use their online hotel reservation system to assist Walk to Mary pilgrims needing overnight accommodations. Plus, Walk to Mary pilgrims will receive preferred and special discounted room rates. How awesome is this?

Please Note: arrangements are being made for busing from ONLY Discover Green Bay hotels to the start of the Walk to Mary (National Shrine of St. Joseph) and busing back to the hotel from the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion (upon completion of the pilgrimage).  Early morning bus departure time will be finalized a few weeks before the pilgrimage.  At hotel check-in you will be provided information plus watch for email updates near the end of April.

Zechariah House is a sacred retreat and resource center dedicated to healing, renewal, and faith-filled connection. Located in the former St. Mary’s Rectory in Kaukauna, Wisconsin—just minutes from the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion—this peaceful space serves as a spiritual home for pilgrims, individuals, and families seeking rest and restoration.

The Norbertine Center for Spirituality at St. Norbert Abbey (1016 N. Broadway, De Pere, WI 54115) has a limited number of retreat guest rooms available for the Walk to Mary weekend.  Retreat guest room rates per night are $75 for single occupancy and $95 for double occupancy.  All rooms are fully refurbished and now include private bathrooms and air conditioning.  Guest meals are available at an additional cost.  To make a reservation call 920-337-4315 or email ncs@norbertines.org.

Please Know: no one under the age of 18 is allowed to stay overnight at the Norbertine Center for Spirituality per the Norbertine Community with the St. Norbert Abbey.

TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED to the the Walk to Mary starting point – the National Shrine of St. Joseph, on the campus of St. Norbert College.  A bus will leave promptly at 6:15am!  Upon completion of the Walk to Mary a bus will take pilgrims from the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion back to the St. Norbert Abbey.

We have a limited number of Green Bay WI area Host Families who have volunteered to share their home for a night or two with Walk to Mary Pilgrims. The Walk to Mary carefully selects Host Families based on their desire to host visiting pilgrims and their ability to provide a safe, comfortable home and faith filled experience for you. Our current list of Host Families includes Walk to Mary sponsors, volunteers and members of our Medical Team.
